Polarity Host Expands Live Streaming to Twitch and Joins 'It’s Probably Nothing' U.S. Tour

Polarity host Josh used an important channel announcement to outline two developments that mark a new phase in his work at the intersection of UFOs, non-human intelligence and human potential. The first centers on live streaming: Josh has been invited into the Twitch Australia partnership program and is now officially a Twitch partner, and the second involves joining Chris Ramsay’s "It’s Probably Nothing" tour for multiple West Coast dates in the United States.

Josh explained that Polarity has gradually shifted into a live stream-based format, which he regards as central to the channel’s identity. He described six months of running the show while traveling overseas, emphasizing that the pressure and unpredictability of live broadcasting create the energy he and his audience value. Becoming a Twitch partner, he said, formalizes that direction. He plans to stream on Twitch significantly more often while keeping his existing YouTube shows intact, with key broadcasts simulcast on both platforms so regular viewers do not lose access.

The new Twitch partnership, according to Josh, will allow him to expand beyond the constraints he sometimes feels on YouTube. He portrayed Twitch as a more relaxed environment where he can "spread his wings" with a wider variety of content. In addition to the established Polarity themes around UAP, paranormal investigation and high-strangeness deep dives, he intends to host casual hangouts similar to his After Dark sessions, live Q&A segments, and reaction-based content that is not limited to anomalous phenomena. As a self-described gamer, he also sees a role for gaming streams in the future when travel schedules ease.

A major part of that plan is the introduction of IRL (in real life) streams. Josh is scheduled to land in the United States in just over a week for almost three months, and he expects to use his Twitch channel to broadcast from the ground while he explores what he calls the "land of the free." Those IRL segments are expected to include informal documentation of his travels, meetups with viewers and attendance at UAP-related events, including Contact in the Desert, which he identified as one of his first stops upon arriving in the country.

Josh also detailed how viewers can access and support the expanded Twitch presence. He directed followers to twitch.tv/polarityjosh and noted that, as on YouTube, Twitch will run ads for non-subscribers. Subscribing directly to his channel removes those ads, and he highlighted that Amazon Prime members can link their accounts to Twitch and obtain one free channel subscription each month at no additional cost. He encouraged viewers to use that free Prime subscription on his channel to secure ad-free viewing if they choose to watch his live streams primarily on Twitch.

Alongside the streaming expansion, Josh announced a move into live, on-stage work through Chris Ramsay’s "It’s Probably Nothing" tour. He confirmed that he will co-host the first half of the tour’s West Coast leg with Ramsay, appearing at shows in Tucson, Arizona, Los Angeles, California, and San Francisco, California. The tour branding aligns with Polarity’s existing focus on UAP, non-human intelligence and anomalous experiences, and Josh described the live shows as large-scale productions with multiple special guests already confirmed.

Tickets for all three "It’s Probably Nothing" dates remain available through itsprobablynothing.com, Josh said, although some are already on track to sell out. He framed the tour as both an entertainment project and an opportunity to meet a substantial portion of his audience in person, noting that most Polarity viewers are based in the United States while he normally broadcasts from Australia. Meeting those long-term viewers at tour stops and at Contact in the Desert forms a key part of his travel schedule.

Josh closed by contrasting his current position with the situation roughly 18 months earlier, when he last recorded a similar announcement after being fired from his job and holding only about 500 subscribers. He characterized the period since then as significant growth for Polarity and expressed gratitude for the support that enabled him to accept the Twitch partnership and join the "It’s Probably Nothing" tour. He ended the announcement with thanks to the community and a brief personal message encouraging viewers to be kind, look after their well-being and stay engaged as he transitions into this more expansive phase of live and in-person work.
